Kyle Orton Powers My Fantasy Team To Victory

While Kyle Orton's numbers certainly haven't been spectacular they also haven't been Grossman, Rex that is, like. When my two quarterbacks were sidelined due to injury and a benching I had to pick up one of the few QB's available. This was right before the CHI/PHI game and I really felt that CHI would win and Orton would have a nice game. Well the Bears did win and Orton had an okay game. When some of the other guys in the league saw I had Orton as my quarterback they were laughing at me. What is funny is that I am 2-1 with him and was 0-3 without. He gave me a solid 33 and change this week and the QB points really helped big time to secure my victory. Well that and Randy Moss having a few touchdowns...

Now who is laughing :)....

Brady Boot Blown Out Of Proportion

This is just me personally but I really think the whole Brady injury / boot issue has been blown way out of proportion. If the guy was down in Mexico relaxing with his girl he would be criticized. Instead he is home relaxing taking it easy and nursing a bit of an injury. They splash the stuff all over the front of every sports page across the country. I guess when you have a team that is as much an underdog as NY you have to create some kind of controversy to make the game more interesting.

Fans Win! - NFL To Simulcast Pats Game On CBS & NBC!

This decision by the NFL is a great win for fans of the game. When I first heard about the NFL trying to leverage this game and several others in its battle with Comcast as a fan of the game I was upset. With this decision history is being made with the game being simulcast on 3 networks. If you are a fan of football you should watch this historic game in which the Pats look to be the first team to win all 16 games in a season.
